Friday Muse: Dinah Burgis
This week, we're crushin' on the final member of our Black Friday #ModSquad and boohoo babe, Dinah.
Here's what went down when we asked her some of life's big questions...
How did you get into modelling?
A fashion boutique in Cheshire asked me to model for them last year and it’s gone from there!
What’s been your fave modelling job?
Definitely boohoo! The #StopandPop campaign was so different and fun to do.
Three words that describe me... silly, loyal and thoughtful.
My style is... conscious of the latest trends, massive fan of monotones and neutrals.
I really can't live without... coffee – I am not a morning person!
At the weekend I can be found... in the city centre. If not shopping, with a Pina Colada in hand.
My special skills are... always being able to find the perfect selfie lighting.
I'm always talking about... when the next night out is.
The hashtag I always use is... #isitFridayyet
A word or phrase I overuse is...“dreamy”, I use it to describe practically everything.
Dress up or dress down for a night out?
Dress up for sure, I live by the quote “you can never be overdressed or overeducated.”
Trainers or heels?
I used to love wearing heels, but Uni has turned me into such a trainers gal.
What’s your party trick?
I can do a 3 leaf clover with my tongue.
Do you stay in or go out over Christmas?
Go out, any excuse for mulled wine and prosecco.
House party or club?
Club – but as long as there’s music I’ll dance anywhere.
Mates or dates?
What will you wear to go out over Christmas?
I’m feeling the dress and chunky boots combo this year – anything metallic or with sequins.
How do you deal with the marathon of happy hours, awkward dinners and a party list that doesn’t quit? Do you give up or go out?
Go out every time – it’s really the only time of the year it’s acceptable.
Survival tips for going into work the day after a party/night out?
Tonnes of concealer and a never-ending supply of caffeine.
