Outfits To Take You From Desk To Dance Floor

By Eve Macdonald

We're a generation of multi-tasking, let's be honest. We all check our Instagram feed and watch a movie at the same time. So we expect more from our clothes too. No time to head home to switch up your look? Here are the OOTDs to take you from desk to dance floor.

The Casual Dress

A shirt dress - the one that'll have your back from AM to PM

Desk: Wear with tights and heeled boots during the day

Dance floor: Bring a necklace in your bag, a bright lippy and take off the tights for at night

The Jumpsuit

Give the illusion you've put the effort in during the day, but make sure you still look sassy for the club or bar.

Desk: Tone it down with a loose ponytail and some flats.

Dancefloor: Add high heels and some hoop earrings for an extra bit of pop.

The Skirt

You might think leather can be hard to pull off during the day, but paired with a crisp white shirt and you'll be Rachel Green's style crush!

Desk: Keep your make-up simplistic to match your shirt (which you can then top up at night!)

Dancefloor: To jazz it up a bit, add a waist belt to pull you in and create an hourglass shape.

The Trousers

You can never go wrong with a trouser combo. If they're black, play around with different shirt colours, prints and textures.

Desk: Wear flats to make sure you're comfortable enough to last all day.

Dancefloor: Heels can turn any outfit around. Carrie Bradshaw is the Queen of showing us how it is!
