Beats | NAO
After making waves on the music scene late last year thanks to her neo-R'n'B vocals and collab with Mura Masa, NAO's first album release has been a long time coming.
That said, For All We Know is 100% worth the wait. Featuring the recently released 'Fool To Love' and 'Bad Blood' (read: NOT Taylor Swift ), the album carries an undertone of funk throughout which sets NAO apart from her peers like Aluna Francis, Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe and Mabel, daughter of Neneh Cherry.
NAO's newer material on FAWN is an exploration of her range; 'Happy', as the name suggests, has a lighter, almost-pop feel, while 'We Don't Give A''s raw sound creates a sense of vulnerability, softly wrapped in NAO's honeyed tones.
After appearing at Glastonbury and Parklife already, we can't wait to see NAO perform the new material on her UK and US tour later this year.
