Hot topic in the office at the moment is holiday destinations, where people have been and where they're booked to go. So take 10 and daydream with us as the Stylefix team suggests some amazing places to visit this year. Let the wanderlust begin...
Roxanne - Korea
One of my favourite moments at Bukhansan National Park, where you can escape the city and walk up 1.5-2 km to take a break at the beautiful antique temple and overlook the CBD.
Fried chicken and beer is the takeaway of choice here, following a Nori-Bang (karaoke bar) Korea's favourite past time and on every street corner. One of the biggest and poshest is in Hongdae, near club M2. Go here after drinking lots of soju and with a bunch of foreigners as Koreans are way too good at it!
StrangeFruit was one of my favourite bars – where you can go and get a shot of whiskey and pick a CD single for the DJ to play, classic Spice Girls and Beach Boys on rotation - whats not to love?!
Erin - Marrakesh
I have just got back from Marrakesh and loved every second. Everywhere you look is stunning, so many gardens, amazing tiled floors and lanterns. You can find yourself relaxing on a roof terrace in the sun or completely lost in the middle of the souks buying everything from jewellery and leather to Baboush.
Make sure you stay in a riad, they’re all amazing. My must sees are the Yves Saint Laurent Le Jardin Majorelle and Bahia Palace. There are so many great places to eat and drink but my faves were La Famille, Earth Café and Le Jardin.
Ella - Vienna
Basically a fairy tale kingdom, Vienna is full of palaces, beautiful monuments and It’s WAY bigger than you think! (or maybe that was just me). Hit up the museum quarter for gorge architecture, St. Stephen’s cathedral and horse and carts everywhere! Plus you’ll find the world famous Demel, pastry shop to the royals which totally lives up to the hype – sneak downstairs to watch the bakers at work and grab a slice of the Mozart bomb (it is literally the bomb.)
Hannah - Greece
This is one of my favourite places to go on holiday (I've been back a few times!) Island of Aegina, Greece. The picturesque island is quiet in the day but comes alive at night. Only a short ferry ride away from Athens, so you can soak up some culture if you fancy a day trip. I love the great food, good nightlife and it's quite cheap so you get a lot for your money. Not forgetting the secret beaches, my recommendation is Moni, a lagoon style beach hidden away from unknowing tourists... sssh!
Beth - Amsterdam
My recommendation for a great city break is Amsterdam. Simply because it is weird and wonderful...I emphasise on the weird! As well as a copious amount of churros, waffles and pancakes on offer (enough said already?!) there's so much to see, so grab your snack of choice and take a stroll around this quaint city. You'll need the sugar to keep you going, pack your comfiest shoes!
Must dos: canal cruise, ice bar, bike hire, and the nightlife is second to none!
