Editor's Friday Five
Drum roll please… this is my first Friday Five as the Editor of our brand new look Stylefix magazine!
Friday is pretty important to us as Boohoo HQ, of course we get the standard FEELS the day brings out in everyone, but we like to crank it up a gear or two. We share positive vibes (it’s not as cringe as it sounds) and count down the final hour of the work day with the now infamous Five at 5, yes that’s a playlist of classic hits from 90s boy band Five (again so not cringe).
It seems natural then that each Friday I share five things with you, fashion and otherwise that will enrich your wardrobes and indeed your lives! Because I’m feeling the love for my team today, this debut edition has a bit of a girl power theme…
1. The Winter Warmer
With temperatures dropping you can no longer ignore the need to find a winter coat. Yes, the struggle is real! This year the faux fur is fashion's favourite cover up, hella chic and warm too - winning. For a boho rock twist, I'm going for a shaggy fur in cool cream like the fab Lottie Coat - mission completed!
2. The Posh Playsuit
AW is all about lush texture, embellishment and a rich and decadent palette, and that's why the Gracie Jacquard Jumpsuit is ticking all my boxes. Perfect for party season the red and gold strapless number has all the impact of a killer dress without the added fear of flashing your knickers after one too many. Bonus!
It's official the most used hashtag of 2015 isn't #goals or #blessed or even #selfie - it's that four letter word we all LOVE to hear. While it may not be the most original or even on fleek, #love is something we all need a little of. Granted some people use it to describe their new shoes, or favey brunch spot (in my case above a pampered pup), but whatever it's used to describe we are all for #LOVE
4. Gigi the Cover Girl
What's that? Gigi Hadid's first ever Vogue cover - what a way to see in the New Year! The Jan edition features fashion's latest girl crush looking so good we can barely cope. Not only does our girl look incred, she's decked out in next spring’s nautical trend and I'm really digging the Breton and biker combo.
