Pancake Inspo With Bake-O-Rama

I don't know about you but we got a little bit bored of the classic lemon and sugar (yawn) so we hooked up with Charlotte O'Toole from Bake-O-Rama to get some much needed filling inspo!

1.      Nutella Smores

(makes 2 pancake fillings)



INGREDIENTS

·         JAR OF NUTELLA

·         HANDFUL OF MINI MALLOWS

·         3 DIGESTIVE BISCUITS

·         CHOCOLATE SAUCE

·         MINI CHOC CHIPS

 

METHOD

·         Sit nutella in some hot water for 3-5 mins with the lid sealed - gooey!

·         Spread as much nutella as you can handle on to a pancake

·         Sprinkle mini mallows over and pop under the grill for 2 mins until melty

·         Scatter choc cips, biscuit and sauce over the mallows and roll up
  


2.      Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe

(makes 2 pancake fillings)



INGREDIENTS

·         200G TUB CREAM CHEESE

·         200ML TUB DOUBLE CREAM

·         2 TABLESPOONS OF ICING SUGAR

·         ½ TSP VANILLA ESSESNCE

·         6 FAT STRAWBERRIES

·         STRAWBERRY SAUCE(OPTIONAL)

·         3 DIGESTIVE BISCUITS

 

METHOD

·         Add icing sugar and vanilla to cream

·         Whip cream to soft peaks

·         Fold cream cheese into the whipped cream mixture and set aside

·         Chop digestives into crumbles

·         Chop strawberries into discs

·         Assemble...




3.      Reeses Cup Crepe

(makes 2-6 pancake fillings)



INGREDIENTS

·         PEANUT BUTTER

·         HANDFUL OF MINI MALLOWS

·         REESES PIECES

·         REESES CUPS

·         GLITTER


·         CHOCOLATE SAUCE



METHOD

·         Spread peanut butter over a pancake

·         Scatter over mallows, reeses pieces and choc sauce

·         Roll up and top with sauce/ reeses cup and glitter




4.      Lemon Meringue Pancake

(makes 2 pancake fillings)



INGREDIENTS

·         200ML TUB DOUBLE CREAM

·         2 TABLESPOONS OF ICING SUGAR

·         4 SHOP BOUGHT MERINGUES

·         JAR OF LEMON CURD

·         WEDGE OF LEMON

·         GLITTER

 

METHOD

·         Put icing sugar into double cream and whip to soft peaks

·         Crush 3 meringues into the cream and fold together

·         Spread lemon curd onto the pancake

·         Top with creamy mix

·         Roll and top with a dollop of cream, another crushed meringue and squeeze over a wedge of lemon
