Ekaterina Webb

Age: 20

Uni: Birmingham City University

Inspiration: As Boohoo is celebrating their 10th Anniversary I knew I wanted to go straight red. Red is the colour of celebration as well as being warm and positive. Some cultures such as China believe that red is the colour for good luck. I wanted to embrace the feminine lace fabric which fits perfectly with the effortless and romantic look.

Fun fact about me? I was born in Moscow and moved to the UK when I was very young so I'm fluent in 2 different languages.

Annabelle Lawrence

Age: 21

Uni: UCLan (University of Central Lancashire)

Inspiration: Ceommercial Balmain feel and friends with bigger boobs who can't necessarily wear the popular slinky styles that are on trend now - I wanted to create a sexy look that they can still wear a bra with!

Fun fact about me? I'm a National Ballroom & Latin dancing champion!

Evie Maskrey

Age: 20

Uni: Nottingham Trent University

Inspiration: I don’t believe that for women to feel powerful, they should have an androgynous look. Women should be able to do just that in any outfit. I have designed a dress that women can feel confident in, something that you should feel empowered and self-assured wearing. This look is completed with the long lasting bohemian trend!

Fun fact about me? I've been told I make the best fried chicken with cornflakes in town.

Darcey Trace

Age: 20

Uni: Heriot-Watt University

Inspiration: The inspiration for my design came from the recent 90's revival in everyday fashion - like the return of chokers - so I knew I wanted a choker-style element in my design. I also took inspiration from the fashion icon of the 90's: Kate Moss, particularly the slip-style dresses she wore.

Fun fact about me? When I was younger I always wanted to be a vet (crossed with a fashion designer!)

Aleksandra Kukula

Age: 21

Uni: University of Northampton

Inspiration: My aim was to design a dress ready for any occasion! Add heels, some beautiful jewellery and an elegant bag and you're ready for a night out or birthday party. Pair with trainers, a cropped bomber jacket and a backpack and you're ready to meet friends or go on a family walk.

Fun fact about me? I reckon I am quite a perfectionist: I will repeat doing the same thing over and over again until I am fully satisfied and happy with the final outcome.
