Positive Vibes | Day 4
SO, my first thought was to go for something sassy about gangsta rap and dealing with stuff; something that told you in no uncertain terms: I AM A GIRL BOSS
But, really I’m a mermaid, I love the water and I spent my childhood trying to sing underwater and swim with my feet together. In real terms, I go to this quote all the time because I’m pretty emo and it reminds me that I’d rather feel everything fully and truthfully than bulls*** my way through life.

Positive Vibes | Day 7
When the chips are down, it’s worth taking a little time to just breathe and remember how totally amazing this world is, and how good it feels to be alive. I know it’s a little cringe but the world inspires me every day, from the people I meet to the animals I see (and that’s without watching David Attenborough). Life is a gift and we should be grateful for each moment we have on earth.- Vicky.

Positive Vibes | Day 6
Moving away from home, starting uni and a job and now coming to the end of both, 2016 is going to be another year of a lot of goodbyes (for now). But a negative can always be turned in to a positive and I know I am lucky to even have these people in my life to begin with!- Ella

The lovely lot at BuyAGift.co.uk have teamed up with yours truly to offer you a Spa Day Break for two and £200 to spend at boohoo. A relaxing weekend all for FREE? Sounds too good to be true right? Well it's legit. But you've got to be in it to win it - literally. Want to be in with a chance? Click here. Good luck!Movie NightMaybe there's a new film on at the cinema she's been waiting to see or a movie you both love - use Mother's Day as a chance to lose yourselves in cinematography. Yep we're talking the likes of Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman - mum always knew best when it came to films... Day Out/Weekend AwayMoney permitting, head to a place she loves or shares memories with you at. Whether that's a town you always used to go to for a fair or show in summer or a local holiday you used to take annually, sometimes the best walks involve a walk down memory lane. See how the area has changed and reminisce about old times. Dine OutChances are your mum will have a favourite restaurant so make the most of Mother's Day and take her there. Good food = a good mood!Or if she prefers something a little different, try Afternoon Tea - there's loads of venues dotted around the country so there's bound to be one near you you can treat her to. Hit The ShopsShopping solves most things. So, aside from boohoo (obviously), head to the shops if you and your mum like a little retail therapy. Get OutdoorsWeather permitting (although if you don't mind the rain, do it anyway), head outdoors. Whether it's a 20 minute slow stroll or more of a country hike, the fresh air will do you the world of wonders, keeps you fit and gives you and your mum chance to catch up! Cook TogetherBig food fans? Cook your mum her favourite meal or maybe you grew up baking together? If so, get the recipe book out and have a mini bake-off and see if mum's epic cake-making skills rubbed off on you. No grumpy moods if not, 9/10 mum knows (and does) best... Go Back To Your ChildhoodUse the resources you've got and unleash your inner child. No, I don't mean your teenage tantrums, but sifting through old photos of the fam, bringing out the old school board games and doing things together you used to do growing up. This will put a smile on your mum's face more than you know!Visit an Exhibition Whether you're art lovers or fashion fanatics, look in your local area to see what exhibitions are on. Whether you're visiting a new collection or want to head to one of your fave galleries, it's a great time to soak up some culture. Give Her The Day OffAnd finally and for little or no money, give your mum the day off. Whether it's doing the household chores, cooking her breakfast or just running her errands for her - let mum be number one for the day.
Positive Vibes | Day 5
After a roller coaster ride in 2015, I’m a firm believer that happiness is a state of mind. It’s not about what you’ve got (or what other’s perception of you is via your insta feed) it’s about how you fill your time, and who you fill your time with. Positivity attracts positivity, and happy attracts happy.- Jess
