Reclaim your lunch breaks
Too often we don't take advantage of our cheeky lunch hour and feel obliged to stay in the office. Well not on Friday 18th, national reclaim you lunch break day, we're taking back our lunch breaks and doing something fun/ anything but work.
Go outside and talk to strangers: I know it goes against the golden rule of stranger danger but there are some weird and wonderful people out there that may just surprise you, interest you or inspire you. You never know you might end up meeting The One.
Go shopping: Nothing like a bit of retail therapy to unwind from any work stresses much cheaper than actual therapy depending on how much you buy.
Go out for a meal: Forget sitting at your desk eating the squashed butty you made the night before and treat yourself to a classy lunch. You don't need to go for a 3 course dinner (unless you want to) just grab a work mate and treat yourself (maybe have a cheeky glass of wine we won't tell)
Explore your surroundings: Too often we ignore what's right on our doorstep - have a nosy and go find your new favourite hideouts. Always good to impress friends with your expert knowledge of the city.
Cuddle a pet: This is a thing. You can go down to your local RSPCA and be a cuddle volunteer, or change careers and make that your permanent profession.
Visit a free concert: Loads of cities offer free concerts whether they're festivals or orchestras at the cathedral, add a little culture to your lunch break.
Pamper Yourself: Go get a treatment whether that's a manicure, pedicure or a massage (yes please) and come back to the office feeling fabulous.
