Red Carpet Style | Golden Globes

Branded the 'biggest party of the year', 2016's award season kicked off this weekend with the Golden Globes.

The Revenant took the most-coveted prizes for Best Motion Picture and Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), while our long-time #girlcrush J-Law was an obvious winner for Best Actress, Comedy for her role in Joy. And while we were swooning over Leo just a little (OK, so we have been since the Titanic days), our eyes were otherwise firmly on the red carpet to check out what and who our fave stars were sporting. Whether it's fresh party 'inspo you're looking for (Kate Hudson, we heart you) or if classic Hollywood glam is more your thing (Lily James, you nailed it), here's the styles we'll be stealing...

 All Out Abs

Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Hudson clearly weren't tucking in to the Christmas pudding this year, sporting the January bodies of our dreams... we could cry (no, really)! They showed off their abs of steel with cut-outs and three pieces (yeah, we're counting the piece of fabric around Kate's neck here). Get Kate's modern day mermaid look in sequins and slinky fabrics or go bold in a red cut out like J Law.

Get Her To The Greek

There was more than one goddess in pure white and nude hues this weekend. Whilst Soairse went for a more classic, symmetrical shape, Lily James opted for the bandaged look in soft sheers. Make this look work so many different ways with a multiway body and team with maxi, midi or mini.

Hello Petal!

Whether it's an all over bold print like Rachel or all in the details like Amber Heard, floral influences were all over the read carpet... is it spring yet?

Take The Plunge

Olivia Wilde and Kirsten Dunst opted for classic red carpet chic in slinky fabrics and plunging necklines. Go for a halter or strappy number to take your style to the max. A staple smoky eye finishes the look!
