The Everygirl's Guide To Fashion Week
It's that time of year: the fashion elite have taken to the streets. Forget fashion week, it's an entire month of new season style and something you SO can't avoid (well, you could go into hibernation but... FOMO!). Luckily for you we've rounded up the NTK highlights of the season. Here's the 411 on why you should care about fashion week, even if you think you don't!
What To Know
Get in on the goss...
Fashionable Fund Fair
Karlie Kloss and Natalia Vodianova have joined ranks once again for the Fashionable Fund Fair at Old Billingsgate Market in London. Last year Karlie sold Kookies whilst Natalia manned the kissing booth. This year we can look forward to a Dior treasure hunt and Givenchy Tattoo parlour... as for what the pair are up to I guess we'll have to wait and see!
(By see, we mean from afar. For $1,000 a ticket, we'll stick to what we know and have an insta stalk for that much needed goss!)
Kan - YAY!
From Yeezy Season 3 to the launch of 'The Life of Pablo', Kanye is already taking centre stage in NYFW goss, but rumour has it he isn't quite finished. The rapper is reportedly planning a performance during LFW. It's anyone's guess when he'll make his appearance but we can be fairly sure that someone's limelight will be stolen... watch out!
Where To Be
The shows that everyone's talking about this season...
London: Alexander McQueen
It's returning to the capital for the first (and apparently one off) appearance in the London line up in 14 years!! We're expecting fights to break out over tickets for this one!
It's time to really meet Johnny Coca as he debuts his first ever Mulberry collection on 21st Feb. All eyes are on him...
With the departure of Alber Elbaz, will they follow in Dior's footsteps and ask the collective design team to produce the season or will they surprise us with a new face of the brand at PFW? (We REALLY hope so).
Who To Stalk
On social... obvs. not literally!
Go BTS with Kendall for cute dressing room selfies and all of the model moments... you won't miss a thing! (I mean she's always in like EVERY show).
Tim Regas has an artistic take on street style - it's all about the lighting. He also snaps the occasional makeup look for extra inspo!
#hairgoals straight off the catwalk!
With a mix of catwalk, street style and her own personal lavish lifestyle, ex editor and chief of Grazia, Tamu basically just takes us with her on her FW adventures across the globe...
Why To Care
Even if you couldn't care less about the fashion, FW is one of the few times where us girls totally own the show... so at least get involved for that!
