Red Carpet Style | The BFAs
From Naomi Campbell to Karl Lagerfeld and The Beckhams, last night's annual British Fashion Awards attracted some of the world's best dressed stars in celebration of the best of British and international fashion talent.
Chosen by a panel of 800 industry insiders, winners included Stella McCartney (Brand of the Year), Jourdan Dunn (Model of the Year) and J.W.Anderson who scooped two awards on the night (Womenswear and Menswear Designer).
Celebrations aside, all eyes were on the red carpet to see who was kicking off holiday season in style. From delicate embroidery to masculine tailoring, here are our favorite trends from the night...
All In The Details
Adding a touch of luxe is easy; sheer lace and organza layers finished with intricate beading lend the right amount of Christmas sparkle to your evening look. Make heads turn like Brit icons Cheryl Fernandez Versini and Georgia May Jagger by sticking to a muted palette.
Suited & Booted
Androgynous style has been filtering through to the mainstream over the past couple of years, and who better to show us how it's done than fashion's power couple The Beckhams? With his & hers matching tuxs, this sartorial duo proved that they're a cut above the rest.
London girl Jourdan Dunn scooped the award for Model of the Year for the second time (her last was in 2008). She nailed colour blocking to perfection in this monochrome maxi, while The Saturday's Mollie King's thigh-split dress showed just the right amount of flesh.
All that glitters isn't gold, as supers Karlie Kloss and Alice Dellal proved. Choose a show-stopping metallic dress and complement with a red lip and pared-back accessories for the chicest of party looks.
